
Jason W. Cohen Shareholder
Jason joined the firm in 2016 after practicing for 11 years with Levy & Droney, P.C. and 3 years with Hinckley Allen. Jason practices in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, business succession planning, the handling of probate matters, and elder law. Jason is focused on helping clients create estate plans that correspond with their goals for the transfer of their assets to family members, other beneficiaries, or charities. Jason creates estate plans and implements wealth transfer strategies designed to accomplish the client's goals while minimizing estate, gift and other taxes. His experience includes preparing multi-generational estate plans through the use of trusts and other techniques. Jason is also well-versed in all aspects of estate and trust administration, including handling the probate process and preparation of estate tax returns and estate and trust income tax returns. He also represents clients in will contests and conservatorship proceedings. Jason and his wife, Katrina, live in West Hartford with their son and daughter. Outside of practicing law, Jason enjoys skiing, hiking, tennis, traveling and cooking.
